About Us

Central London Carpentry is a well established carpentry and joinery firm, operational for over 15 years. We are based in Chiswick, West London, but service all of London and the surrounding areas. 

We primarily build bespoke fitted furniture, however we also do setbuilding and work with qualified plumbers and electricians to offer a full and complete renovation service. 

Our primary expertise is in designing and building made to measure bespoke fitted furniture. Items such as custom kitchens, media units, cabinets, bookcases and wardrobes.

We realise that building work can be quite messy and disruptive, and also appreciate that we are working in your home, so endevour to do as much of our work and cutting as possible off-site in a workshop. Due to to fact most of our projects simply would not fit through the front door once built, we assemble and paint most pieces on site. Work will always be done using dust extractors, and we ensure all floors and furniture are covered and protected.

Once an enquiry has been made, and depending on the size of the project, we will usually give you an estimated price via e mail the following day.

Should you decide you would like to proceed, someone will come to your home for a site visit to take measurements and to discuss the project in detail. We will then generate you a final quotation based on the site visit.

For smaller bespoke furniture projects we will include basic scale drawings with a quote, and discuss further plans for larger projects as necessary.

Our fitted furniture is made to custom fit your house. We work in a vairety of materials , including real wood ,veneers, decorative ply, pre finished boards and standard hand painted MDF. There are hundreds of different details and fittings that can be added to achieve certian looks and styles. Exterior choices such as mouldings, skirtings, cornices, panels and beading can all be matched to existing period room features. Internals such as draws, shelving, hanging rails, lighting and mirrors can all be done to your exact specification, including cable management and connections for media units. Whether you want an complete project management or are simply calling for a bit of DIY advice, we're always on hand to help.
